dear experts,
my query is that whether we can issue C form to seller who sent us material at free of Cost, but we will pay him Excise duty and shall avail credit of same?

Since the cost of material is Nil then cannot issue C form

No need to any sections or notification. it is the common sense. ask party how to upload the C form details without value. if they want to show the value, you need to book the invoice with value and show the Interstate purchase everything, then where is the question of cost free materials
