I AM A QUALIFIED CA WORKING IN PSU.I WANT TO ENTER AS A PARTNER WITH A CA FIRM WHERE I WILL NOT FUNCTION THE ATTESTAION WORK NOR I WILL SIGN ANY WHERE.I DO NOT HAVE THE COP PRESENTLY. CAN I APPLY FOR THE COP AND ENTER THE PARNERSHIP.?

Yes definitely, you can apply for COP and the status of your COP wll be part time.
