Ca final student but dont wanna be a ca

28 March 2014 I am a CA final student with attempt this November.I am very much intrigued by hardcore finance industry and would like to persue my career in the related fields viz.corporate finance,IB,PE VC etc.,but somewhere down the line don't feel that CA is the right course for it.CA is mainly involved in accounting ,tax n auditing which I am genuinely not interested in..I am very weak in accounts and tax as well..and have no confidence in these subjects but have likeliness for SFM. the bottom line is I am not intrsted in becoming a CA or would not like to do the work they are majorly consulted for as mentioned above.I am now planning to give CFA us in December plus later persue MBA. kindly guide about what to do at the moment..I m trying for industrial training so which companies should I look for where I could leverage my interest. Awaiting response

28 March 2014 a company that my hire you for industrial training, wont see it as a positive move, if you fail or give up CA.

so first of all, sit tight and clear CA. and then go for CFA.

and remember there are CA+CFA available dime a dozen in Indian job market today...so how do u plan to compete with them with just a CFA!
