01 June 2011 Hi, I would like to know whether there has been any change in the syllabus or topics of ca final costing since the year 2008 till date. Actually i have taken notes of a friend who had taken coaching from sanjay aggarwal sir in the year 2008 and my attempt is due in nov 2011. Really want to know whether these notes will be relevant for studying or not? Plz reply urgently.

05 June 2011 No changes have been made in Costing, u can use that book & use practice manual

07 June 2011 Thanx for your valuable advise... Also need your view on whether i can refer compiler and institute's module instead of practise manual? ALso whether any change in 'OR' since 2008?

08 June 2011 about 2-3 questions were asked in may 2011 exams from practice manuals in all subjects.
In OR, no change ,for new course 2 topics were added, time series & hypothesis testing
