Please tell me that whether a full time practicing chartered accountant can become a director of a Public limited company.

If the Chartered Accountant is a karta of a HUF than also he can become a director.
Please clarify.

Karta is of HUF for this their is no provision but to become director The Ca Regulation has some provision.

So you are free to appoint as Karta and Director.

15 December 2012 Joint Hindu Family is a unique thing, as per Hindu Law. As per Income Tax Act,1961 HUF is a person, means a conceptual entity represented by karta in no way bar a Chartered Accountant becoming a director of a company in his individual capacity though he is a karta
