16 June 2012 HI, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE REVISED MINIMUM STIPEND PER MONTH THAT A CA ARTICLE MUST GET DURING HIS OR HER 3 YEAR ARTICLESHIP PERIOD?

Regulation 48 deal with Stipend to Article:

Cities/Town having population of 4 lakh or above the minimum stipend in first year is Rs. 750 in second year is Rs. 1000 and in third year is Rs. 1250.

Cities/Town having population of 20 lakh or above the minimum stipend in first year is Rs. 1000 in second year is Rs. 1250 and in third year is Rs. 1500.

Provided that an additional stipend of Rs.300/- per month shall be paid to an articled assistant on his passing the Intermediate examination, from the first day of the month following the date
of declaration of the result of the said examination held under these regulations, irrespective of above classification of rates of stipend with reference to cities/towns.
