1.Can any one tell me what is the check list of Bank Reconciliation statement?

2. Is there possible to make frauds by way of bank reconciliation statment by company or other assesee?

3. is Missing cheques no. is important consideration is it right?

08 July 2010 the points to be noted that there is no stale cheques ,no bank charges.,and items considered are cheques issued but not cleared or cheques received but not deposited.indeed there is every possibility of making frauds routing BRS . yes missing cheque nos. frequently should be questioned.

09 July 2010 Agree with expert. Moreover, if there are cancelled cheques then ask them to keep the cancel cheques in the record so that one can identify the cancel cheques.
