Hi,

I am a salaried individual. Due to some reasons and ignorance I have not filed the ITR for AY 2009-2010 and AY 2010-2011. For subsequent AY 2011-2012 and AY 2012-2013 the returns have been submitted electronically and the same has been accepted. However I am not able to file the returns for AY 2009-2010 and AY 2010-2011.

As per the IT calculations for AY 2009-2010 I have a tax refund of Rs 55182/- and for AY 2010-2011 have a tax refund of Rs 2588/-

Request if one can guide and help with submission of my ITR's for the AY 2009-2010 and AY 2010-2011. Would like to know the IT provisions in the above mentioned scenario.

Regards,

Capital gain tax clarification

Sir, I sold one acre ancestral agricultural land which was within 8 km of M.C area for consideration of Rs.6.5 Crore in July 2012. Out of which I purchased Agricultural land of Rs. 2 crore and two house of Rs 1.50 crore i/c stamp duty.
1.How much amount now I have to invest in buying property to avoid long term capital gain tax .
2. Whether I can invest in only agricutural land or I can also invest in buying house or plot also.
3. Is it compulsory to deposit the balance amounts in Capital gain account before 31 March if I not purchase property before 31 March. What loss I have to bear If I donot do so.
Please guide me as I am laymen in the rules of Capital gain Tax.

Long term capital gains tax

Later this month, I plan to sell a property on which I have a long term gain of 40 lacs.
I will use this money to pay-off the loan on another under construction property I had bought one year ago. I will get posession of this property in one years time.
Would I be expemt from paying capital gains tax even if I pay down the loan- it is going towards the property that I will claim exemption for.
Thanks

Tds deduction

Dear Sir,
I have a proprietorship firm having TAN No. also . We are paying rent of Rs. 15000 p.m but didn't deduct TDS on any payment till the month February.
Could i deduct TDS on the rent due for the month of March on whole amount i.e on 15000 X 12= 180000 @ 10 % = 18000.

Whether i have to deposit that TDS amount with interest or simply TDS amount of Rs. 18000 by or before 7 April.

Thanks in Advance
