Reg:- it filling status.


Dear Sir,

I am Muthaiah.J form Theni(Tamilnadu). I am working as a accountant in FMCG company. My boss have a problem. The problem is my boss misplaced his IT filled copy (Manual Return)from the moment he not filled IT Return.

But now we need to file the IT Return for My Boss. If it is possible to get a copy of Manual IT Return copies for F.Y 2000-2003.

Please tell us a solution.

Car rentals vat or service tax

Dear Experts,

Please clarify on the following.

Is Car rentals charges by the vendor is subject to VAT or Service Tax.

Car has taken as rent by company and company will pay dry rent to the car owner , petrol, driver, service and maintenance will be taken care by the company itself vendor only gets rentals on monthly basic.

Please clarify with supporting notifications/circulars if any

In Transport of goods by road, Is goods received by a dealer of goods has to pay service tax in the new negative list applicability from 01.07.2012.
1. if the transporter is a GTA
2. If the transporter is individual transporter and not the GTA.

Kindly explain the above with an example.

Ca articleship

I am going to start my cs articleship....nd i am appearing for my ca-ipcc exam in nov..so if i pass out ipcc ....is it necessary for me to do CA articleship?????
or else i will get an exemption???

Loss on sale of fixed assets.

Respected Expert,
My queries is related to loss on sale of fixed assets.
1.In which head loss on sale of fixed assets is deductible,which lies in block of assets and on which depreciation has been claimed.
whether it is a STCL(short term capital loss)or it is considered as a revenue upto the limit of w.d.v.and deductible under the head PGBP.

Retirement by rotation

If in a Company all the Directors are Whole Time Directors then what about Retirement by rotation and there is also a clause in AOA that WTD shall not be liable to retire by rotation?

I am trying to file correction for ETDS for the 1st quarter 2013-2014 in RPU which is downloaded from tin-nsdl. But while attaching the consolidated file it is saying "correction for this financial year is not available now"

Please tell me the alternative.

Setoff of losses

Sir

Please let me know..

Can losses under the head PGBP be setoff against Short-Term Capital Gain arises from trading of Listed Security. The assessee is a private limited company.

Please reply. This is very urgent.
