An audit firm which is working as internal auditor of the company for last three years and issuing internal audit reports to the management. Now the company wants to appoint the internal auditor as its statutory auditor in the forthcoming AGM?

Is there any violation of the ICAI code of conduct or ethics? or is there any guideline that internal auditor can not be appointed as statutory auditor for the next three years?

In SOL DU BCom hons 3rd yr, There is project work of 25 marks, in SOL Prospectus it is written that students of ICAI can submit their ITT Certificate and Original Mark sheet of ITT to get exemption from the Project work. But, We dont get ITT Mark Sheet. We only get certificate. Is dere any1 who has completed bcom hons frm SOL and who can guide?

I have started a proprietor concern in the name of Bharti Trading Co. and undertaking job work and provide Accounting services like day to day entry, finalisation, etc of small firms and they pay me in the form of accounting charges. For this F.Y: 2013-14 I will get Rs. 264000/- in total. I also got a contract job for doing TDS work for a govt org and wil get Rs. 72000/- annually. also undertaking Leave & license Registraton work @ Rs. 12000/- per file. till yet done only 6 cases.Do I need to register under service tax or continue to be a small service provider. plz guide

In my company Mr ajay is working as VP Marketing, he is one of the brilliant employee, every project started by him till now was successful and profitable for the company , a 100 crore project is recently sanctioned by board and bank loan is also approved...project is also started,,,,now a female employee had complained against ajay for sexual harassment....company had a strong policy against sexual harassment....Now the question arise....
1)with the Suspension of Ajay, the new launch come to a hold , resulting in a loss of more than Rs. 120 crore, as already Mou's signed
2) if action not taken it will send a completely different signal to all female employee, it may result in union problem apart from loosing face in the market..............please suggest what to do....as matter is very critical and sensitive.....urgent suggestions required

i have filed a return of a company which comes under tax audit.i have filled a figure in 3CD wrong.and i have E-Filed. it . can i revise it and file revised return along with revised 3ca and 3cd.????would like to know the procedure for revising 3ca and 3cd and return.. as per new rules????
