Service tax applicability

if a pvt ltd co. does not have a service tax no. and it avails of services such as security etc, on which reverse charge is applicable, then is the company required to obtain a service tax no. and pay the service tax and subsequently show input credit in its return?

Not hard working

hey, I have finished my 12th with science this year. I am not interested in engineering and I am planning to go for CA. I am not much hardworking but people say that I am intelligent and learn things quickly without much difficulty. Maths is my strong area. I just want to know what quality does a person require to be able to crack CA.

Life insurance

Hi, If employer pays life insurance premium for employee is it allowed as an expense? and is it tax free for employee or is it considered as perk for him?

Iwant to ask ganesh sir that only form 109 and application of transfer by mutual consent is enough to get transfer. And if id card is also required to sent then xerox will sent or I have sent original. Because original id card is taken by my old employer by saying that at the time of tranfer/termination article assistant should have to deposit to old employer.plzzzzz reply as sooon as possible. A builder who is paying service tax @3.09% i.e 12.36% on 25% of total amount received from customers.His Labor Contractor has registered himself under service tax under VCES Scheme on Dec.2013 and has recovered Rs 7 lakhs (Approx) service tax from builder. Can builder claim refund of this service tax paid to the labor contractor as his project is complete before december 2013 or what is the remedy available to the builder please answer.

Income tax refund

I am a senior citizen and have filed my return on 26/07/2013 declaring income Rs./ lakh and above in Form 1 for A.Y. 2013-14 But forgot to claim deduction U/S 80C Rs 100000/- on which I am entitled to get fefund
Rs. 20000/- being 20%on Rs.100000/- for LIC Contribution. Now I cannot submit revised retrun since my return has already been processed at CPC Bangalore. Under this circumstances I request you to advise me how to get my refund from INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT.
I am a senior citizen and suffering from diseases connected with old age So this amount of refund will be of immense help to me.

Tax audit

if turnover exceed rs. 1 cr. he is liable to tax audit &in next year he is liable to deduct tds & file tds return. what is in next financial year turn over below rs. 1 cr. he is liable to dedct tds & file tds return in all succeeding financial year.

Loan from directors

dear sir please advice that whether a pvt. ltd. company can take loan from its directors & shareholders under the companies act 2013. if yes whether the company pay interest on the loan taken from director & shareholders. second ques is if director receive intt & pay intetest to third party from whome they have taken loan then both intt can setoff each other.
