Ca and cs reciprocal exemptions

Dear experts,

Please provide me with useful links or notifications issued by either ICAI or ICSI regarding the exemption of CA-CPT Passed students from appearing for CS Foundation conducted by ICSI.

Is the exemption still applicable, if yes , are there any substantial changes made to it.
Please give me the answer and guide me through.

Regards,
Dinesh

Hello,

I want to claim exemption under sec 80C for the stamp duty paid to buy new flat last year in my name. I want to sell this flat after 3 years (lock in period as per Sec 54). My query is that the exemption of stamp duty under sec 80C valid only if the flat is NOT sold for next 5 years or is there not such restriction

Deduction from other sources income

Experts,

Is interest expense allowed as a deduction from income from other sources.

Example,
There is income of interest on FDR and at the same time there is expense of interest on OD.
Now my question is, is interest expense of OD deductible from interest income of FDR ??

If answer is yes, then how to show the same in ITR ??

Thanks.

Share transfer

If shares are transferred in company, then which form we have to file as per new act.

VIJPS

Hi Expert team ,

I have one confusion about Schedule-TDS1 sheet of ITR-2. My employer has not given rebate on Rent / HRA benefit.

Now while filing income tax return , I calculated HRA and detected from my income from salary.

As per Form 16 my Income from Salary is 7,90,000 but when i exclude HRA from income , Income from salary become 7,10,000.

My question is when i fill Schedule TDS1 sheet , where i need to give detail of tex deducted at source from Salary, what should i write under column ** INCOME CHARGEABLE UNDER SALRIES ** , the number which is given in From16 ( i.e 7,90,000 ) or new value after HRA detected 7,10,000
