Dear Sir's, there is no expected business so we cancelled registration online and submitted at excise office. before that we are filing returns regularly nil returns, but last year there was a huge input is available in books we sold less rate where we purchased and made cenvat zero. to be frank we never paid duty in PLA but paid in CENVAT by debiting input. now superintendent asking us to go audit compassionate for valanterly audit since we never fall under audit. because there is less then 50lacs cenvat. superintendent saying if there is no issues can give confirmation of closing. please let us know this is right practice, and kindly suggest further process for smooth closing of registration. Thanks

In para no. 10 of particulars of employer of name of the articled assistant(s) undergoing articled training, there is an article who has completed her articles but she has submitted her form 107 with the employer, do i have to disclose her name in the form.

There is so much confusion in Asset Classification
under 3 categories

Furniture & Fixtures
Plant & Machinery (General)
Office Equipment.

Some says that assets which are used wholly for the purpose of Business should be classified into Plant & Machinery
So, going by that accord, Testing Equipment,
Weight & Measurement should be classified under Plant & Machinery.

But according to the definition given for office equipment , it has been mentioned that which do not require personal attention, like fax, copiers, etc.

and what Air conditioners, FAN & Refridgetors, are they come under Furniture & Fixtures.
