My friend's cpt result is withheld, due to registration problem. But after completing all the formalities still it is not disclosed even the institute has not replied to it.So now wat to do???

Icai has announced that nov 2010 is the last attempt for the final old stream students in that case if we got any exemption in any subject we can avail the same with in the new course, confirm me plz

Will u please guide me on the accounting trartment of Income & Expenditure of an Training institute.

Suppose we got 50k in april month on account of Registration fee & issued the prospectus to the students. then in the month of april what would be my income is it Rs. 50k ??? and accounting entry???

Suppose we got 40k in May month on account of admission fee from the students but nothing services provided to them . then in the month of May what would be my income is it Rs. 40k ??? and accounting entry???

Suppose then, we got 80k in June month on account of Batch start fee from the students and started providing classes/services to them and will claim 50k from the students every month till Feb-2011then every month what would be the income in the books?? and a/c entries

as confirm that we need to apply for charge of address with st-1, requested to confirm further two point 1) where the same need to be submitted at the place where it was issued i.e Central Libary or at worll under who,s jurisdiction we fall now 2) also can you please tell me know whether st-1 to be filled with change of address only or as per centrailsed registion with list of address

The Institute has given all the students of CA Final (Existing Course) an option to switch over to the New Course on payment of certain fee. I have taken the exam 4 times till date and have to clear it yet. I have an exemption in MAFA and am presently pondering about the following:
1. Should I switch over to the New Course? What would be the benefits? The only one I can think of is that I can keep myself abreast with the latest developments than studying the dated syllabus of Existing Course. I have refered the New Course material and am comfortable with it.
2. Will I be eligible for an exemption in a subject in the New Course parallel to MAFA?

Please inform me For PCC,which which books should i buy-for all subjects.All books are available in Kolkata?

Is it enough to study books ,provided by the board of studies for IPCC or to go for other reference book?
If needed ,please suggest the appropriate books.
