Can you please help me by suggesting me the most self explanatory book for advanced management accounting. the sanjay aggarwal is not available in the market, only its question book is available the solution of which are again not available ... and various seniors of mine have suggested me to avoid book of indian authors ... so kindly suggest me some books out of your experiance...as m going for self study..

I just wanted some help on the IPCC Subject costing. The thing is that I have not opted for tutions but self study.

I bought a Padhukas book on Cost Acc and FM which has loads of problems and solutions.

So how do i handle the subject - i mean how do i go about in preparing this subject.

And why is that this subject is so low scoring and people literary don't pass IPCC because of this. Is it that problems are tuf or the correction that is stringent? Which is more tuf - Costing or FM? Could you give a detailed analysis on how to handle these 2 subjects - Cost

One of my friend is elgible to get following salary from the employer but he wants to know that what in hand salary (after deduction) he will get monthly???Company has given him breakup as follows:::

Basic+HRA+Con+Spl. allowance=15050/- P.m

(Other benefits)= EPF=384/-

Gratuity= 154/-

Medicalim=133/-

SO what in hand salary he will be entitled for?

and what is gratuity? and how it will be calculated and when he will get it?

My articleship training ends over in Oct 2011. As per the new announcement of our institute, i know that am eligible for the attempt of May 2011.

Only 9 Months are in my hands.
Please guide me,

Are 9 months enough to prepare for the exam?
or
Should i give it in Nov 2011?

I have cleared Igroup of PE-II, now i applied for Registration to Conversion to IPCC & Orientation course.Already joined for ITT training.Is it possible for me to appear in nov 2010 Exam.

I completed my 2nd group in PE-2and i got exemption in ACCOUNTS EXAMINATION which is first paper in group-1 of PE-2.After conversion into IPCC how many papers are remain balanced to complete in November,2010 examination of IPCE.
