As per students if any old final student is appearing in new course Ist time( I m registered since 1995) and cleared 2nd group of final in Nov-02 but failed in Ist group in Nov-10 exam. Now I Have to appear in new course and Rs 1100/- have to paid as conversion fees and institute provide New Styudy material. This Rs 1100/- is only cost of Study material or fees of conversion? Please explain me.

I have passed C.A. Final IInd Group in Nov-2002 and in this attemp(Nov-2010) appeared for Ist Group in old course and result was negative. Now the scheme is changed .What is the procedure for conversion from old to new and how much amount have to pay and in whom favour it should be and where it should be payable. This is mandatory or optional if i want to appear in May-2011 exam.

i got 165 marks in cpt december 2010.
if i studied with same level can i pass ipcc?

Dear friend I need your advice. I have a query about CA course. I am doing Job in Industry in Finance Deptt. I have also completed my articleship in 1999. My Regn. No. was DD 039641. I am interested in appearing in CA Intermediate exams at the age of 34 to get promotional advantage in my industry .I have following queries:-


I want to know whether my registration is now valid or not or I have to re-register my self.


I hope such articleship completion certificate will be valid as on date.

I can devote just 2 hours daily for preparing CA inter exams, whether two hours will be sufficient.

Please advice.

i have a query on Articleship. i am Qualified CS and working in a MNC from last 6 years in accounts and secretarial Dept. i have 6 years post qualifiation experience. i have registered for CA Inter long back in 2005. i want to pursue it now.do i need to regsiter for articleship or is there any way i can get exemption from it.

friends i had taken exces leave in my articleship n after completing trainning for which i hav taken excess leave but i had wrongly filed form 107 but i had to fill form 102 so had received letter from institute to fill form 102.should i hav to fill penalty bcoz form 102 is to b filled with in 30days of commencement of traininig. i hav to pay penalty or not????

Dear Sir,

I am an Old course student. I have cleared first group of CA Final in May 2008. But since then unfortunately missing out on second group every time, by narrow margins. This time also i lost by 9 marks.

My question is, do i need to follow any procedure for converting to the new course or will they convert me automatically? I have seen an application form for conversion, in which they are asking all the historical details like the DD number for Intermediate course etc...i am not able to trace the details in my record.. I am not able to understand the logic behind these questions..If i haven't paid the fees, then i would not have been able to appear for final and pass one group..

Seeking your valuable advice....
Also kindly clarify whether the group already passed can be carried forward in spite of the syllabus change...

A FRIEND OF MINE IS UNDERGOING ARTICLESHIP. HE HAS CLEARED 1ST GROUP OF PCC BUT LATER HE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH HIS PRINCIPAL SO HE LEFT GOING THE OFFICE WITHOUT TERMINATING THE ARTICLESHIP OR TAKING THE TRANSFER I.E. THE ATRICLESHIP IS STILL ON WITH SAME PRINCIPAL. NOW HE WANTS TO GIVE SECOND GROUP AND HIS PRINCIPAL WON'T SIGN THE EXAM FORM, I WANTED TO KNOW WHETHER HIS EXAM FORM HAS TO BE SIGNED BY HIS PRINCIPAL OR HE CAN GET IT SIGNED BY ANY OTHER MEMBER OF INSTITUTE (ICAI).
