Will u pls tell me in how much time will the new companies Bill, 2009 will come to our syllabus? I know it is still to be passed by parliament.. Does anybody have any news?? I have got my attempt in may 2012.

I have heard of a new course called ACCA(Associate Certified C.A) which is somewhat less competitive than normal C.A course.Also while completing this course we get double graduated with Bsc.(Diploma in advanced accounting) and that also from Oxford-Brookes University.In all the stages of this course there is no maths involved and after completing the entrance level we have to articleship at various banks/MNCs and that articleship placement is given by its institiute.ACCA is universally recognises in over 170+ countries and also the prospects available after completing this course are much greater than CA.Can anyone pleae tell whether to do CA or ACCA?

I have worked in a CA Firm Last two years and presently, from last One and Half year i am working in a Private Limited Company as an Accountant.

I am pursuing IPCC and B. Com (H) from DU and worried about Articleship becouse I can't do regular Articleship alongwinth JOB.

Can i take dumning from a CA Firm, If i taking duming will it allow or accepted by ICAI for Articleship ?

i belong to small town.i have done work on taxation like return filing, form 3cd etc in my articleship.but i have interest in diect taxation nd wanted to do job in taxation in big4;s like E& Y,DELLOITE .but i wanted to know that as i have little knowledge in taxation will they give me their own training .plz clarify wat r selction process nd training programs undertaken by them after selection.
