I completed my articleship tenure and lodged Form 108 with ICAI..in response to it i received a communication stating subject as Termination of articleship (not completion) and in the same letter it is mentioned as i have taken excess leave of 9 days...how can i proceed further?

My date of commencement of article was 15/12/2012 as per agreement.. I didn't taken any extra leave. so please let me know exact date when it will be completed and what formalities I have to do when my articleship completes..plz help me out

i have submitted my direct entry conversion form to institute but not received ny confirmation letter yet. can i start my articleship or i shud wait till ny confirmation receive???

This nov 15 i appeared for both grouos but exams went bad in second group. First group also i think i wont pass this time. Now please sugfest wether i should join any firm or job and continue studies along with work or i should just stay at home and just study??

The assessee is a company engaged in commercial training and coatching. It has paid examination fees to abroad i.e. in Switzerland. Is any TDS is leviable in this transaction? The fees are entrance exam fees.

I'm registered as an articled clerk in Chennai. However, as I am hailing from Kerala, I selected an exam centre in Kerala for CA Final exams.

The first group exams got postponed in Kerala due to the Panchayat Elections. So the revised timetable in Kerala was in such a way that we had to write the second group exams first(9,12,14,16 of November) and then the First group exams (18,20,22,24 of November)

Now, the exam started only on 9th of November. My query is that will the period from 01-11-2015 to 9-11-2015 be treated as on-duty or leave ?

I have completed my articleship. I have also sent the form 119 to icai and my principal. He is not signing the form 108 till now. My articleship completed on 31st of October,2015.
What shall I do?
As per CA regu,he shall sent 108 to icai within 3 months,if not,form 119 shall be service certificate.But when i went to articles section, they were completely unaware of this and said form 108 is only to be submitted. I told them also about regulations and they only know form 108.
What shall i do?
Shall i wait for 3 months?

i have failed two times in CA IPCC is it is advisable to write again or drop plz advice me

assessee books bulk rooms in hotel, hotels in turn offers discount of 25% in package amounts of rooms. hotels considers this discount as commission and deducts tds on the same and adjust the balance discount against creditors account. on the other hand travel agent raises bills to guests and pays service tax with abatement of 90 %. whether discount received by travel agents attract service tax.
