I am eligible for CA finals since may 13. Due to some personal reasons I was not able to sit for may 13 exams and later on I gave exams in next term but failed. After that I left CA and joined a business. Now once again I am reappearing for CA finals in may16. just one thing which comes to my mind is how many number of attempts will be reckoned by the companies during placements. My friend said that no of attempt will be counted from may13 i.e.6attempts, even if I haven't appeared for the exams. I am really worried. please resolve my query.

My friend wants to change his firm, he is not satisfied there. He asked for termination, but his principal refused to sign the termination documents, forcing him(article) to work under him.What should he do?

Dear Experts, I have to start a firm with a very limited expenses and cost hence I need to make service tax registration by myself to save my CA cost for time being. Hello experts I am appearing in the forthcoming examination of CA final. I need your advice regarding the self study books for sfm cost and isca. I have already read many threads on this forum but it confused me and now I am in a dilemma which book shall I choose to get good knowledge and score well in the examination. My personal choice for the following subjects are as: Sfm :SD bala but it lacks practical problems. Cost :P c tulsian although I have no idea whether it is a right selection or not. Isca: kaha se karu Manish m valechha or Dinesh madan or practice manual or mukesh saraf or any other book. please reply . Regards Akash Garg

When we calculate our leaves for extension if have taken half day will it be considered as leave and if we have taken two weeks leave do weekends count as holidays.If our CA is not ready to sign our form what options do we have?

Can CA take the action after the articleship completion letter is received??
My Articleship got over on 1/09/2015,my CA had signed the form and later on I had received the letter from ICAI that my articleship is terminated. Its been over a month since I received the letter from ICAI, now I visited his office to learn more. But he wants me to serve for longer period and threatening that he will send my attendance to ICAI saying that I had taken excess leave..

I have done my CA-Articleship in 2 different offices. In my first office, I availed 68 days leave and I had shown that way in the Form 109, which I submitted with the institute during termination from the first office. Now for me to complete my articles without a supplementary articleship as per the CA Regulations how many more days  should I show as leave taken in the Form 108?
