I would like to clarify the following, if we are on leave for 1 month continuously do we count it as 30 days or do we exclude Sundays and public holidays ?
my query is with reference to Annexure II leave calculations, on the students training guide

eg: say i take leave for the whole month of January 2011. now do i count it as 31 days or do i count it as 24 days (assuming 5 sundays and 2 public holidays)?

Are there are additional useful diploma or certification programmes that a CA student can try out..? If so then wat are they and cost involved?

Is it like that if one wanna do MBA then doing BBS is better than doing B.com(H) before MBA to understand the concept of MBA more easily?

I want to know that I have cleared my Ipccc Gr-1 in Nov 2009 & gr-2 in may 2010 but still i have not received any Pass Certificate .So how will i get it
Is it necesssary to have ipcc pass certificte

i am working in a ca firm and will resign on 31st march,2011 for further studies.

i want to do icwai.

But my boss(CA)tell me that don,t do icwai and waste time as it does not has much scope.

he recommend me to do ca only and not icwai.

he tell me that costing don,t have much scope.

now plz help me what to do

CA has 3years of articleship compulsory
its will take long time because CPT, IPCC1 THEN ARTICLESHIP WITH IPCC2 AND FINAL
SO IT WILL TAKE LONG TIME
and i want to clear is soon

my friend who are doing icwai told me that icwai has traing for 3years for associates membership. if you dont want to go for associate membership than no need of articleship

i hav given xasm in nov,10..but failed..i checked my ans with the institiute suggested ans..my majority ans were right..then how could i fail??? is there any flaw in the way the institute checks paper..y is institute playing with the future of students??
