Works contracts service tax

please help me

Kiran Dev C.K

My Company has paid service tax @ 7.36%(12.36-5(R&D Cess)) on Royalty and Technical Services to abroad. My question is whether I can take it as my input service tax. And if possible when? Can I take it as a input for other services? If it is not possible can I get refund?

CA Husain Saifee

I have to ask that whether cenvat credit on inputs is allowed when the service provider provides works contract service but other than construction of Civil structure and building OR laying foundation for capital goods

Service tax on job work

Dear Experts,

Our client is providing packing services to Agarbathi manufacturers. Is this service falls within the ambit of "taxable Service"?
Whether service tax is applicable? Any notification in this context?

Regarding service tax

good afternoon to all of you. my client is givivng services of repairs and maintainace of acuaguard on behalf of company under frenchisee and getting commission. so tell me who will have to pay service tax?

chirag

If an individual is SSP providing works contract service to company, than valuation for service tax will be made directly on 50% and accordingly pay service tax or tax will be paid on 40%, 60% or 70% as the case may be.
