Hi
I had a firm back is VAT days which has closed. I had deposited 25k FD with bank as security. The firm has closed and unfortunately I have LOST bond. All i have is copy of FD bond.
Bond has matured and reflecting as earning in my Income tax.
Can i redeem it. I visited bank but they are asking me letter from tax department for redemption.
Pls guide me how to get this money back.

The Asst. Commissioner (ST)-X Circle, Chennai, transferred the arrears in Form-30 to "Y" Circle, Chennai outer. The notice received from AC "Y" Circle,dated 21-2-2024, addressed to AEE P. Ltd. The notice is related to A Engg Enterprises for the period of 2007–08 to 2010–11. The notice mentioned, "They also did business in the name and style of Tvl (M/s) A Engineering Enterprises.". The AC advised in the notice to pay the arrears and slated PH for 29-2-2024. Is this notice on the suspected case from 2007–11, after 13–16 years? What is the obligation for the P.Ltd. company, converted in 2012, now? Please advise all the options and mandatory things, pros and cons. Thanks in advance.

we have paid on (departmental demand of vat tax old period) on dated 23 march 2023 from our cc account HDFC BANK, but after some period DEPARTMENT again ask me the challan copy we contact not only HDFC BANK (JAISTAMBH CHOUK RAIPUR HDFC) b/office but RM LEVEL OFFICER also of HDFC BANK controlling BRANCH,SUNDER NAGAR RAIPUR but yet today after 1 month trial we could not get the challan .
