RE:EXCISE CREDIT

WE ARE C& F AGENT & DEALER.WE ARE ALSO DOING EXCISE BILLING AND TAKING CENVAT CREDIT.I WANT TO KNOW WHEN WE ARE ISSUING A BILL TO NON EXCISE DEALER WHETHER WE CAN PASS EXCISE CREDIT TO THAT DEALER.EXAMPLE:- WE HAVE PURCHASED 2 PETROLEUM PRODUCTS FROM EXCISE DEALER.NOW WE HAVE ISSUED THE SAME MATERIAL TO NON EXCISE DEALER ON VAT BILL.WHETHER WE CAN PASS THE CREDIT TO HIM.AS WE HAVE SOLD THE SAME MATERIAL TO NON EXCISE DEALER.

Job Work and Manufacturer

Please advise:-
Can a registered (Licensed) manufacturer who do all the process from outside job work by supplying raw materail i.e. he himself does not do any activity except purchase of raw materail and selling the product manufactured from various job workers.
Will this manufacturer would be treated as "Manufacturer" under the Central Excise Act.

availment of cenvat credit

if excise duty has not been paid within the time limit and further 30 days has been passed without payment of excise duty.i want to know that whether cenvat credit can be utilised for payment of excise duty on other excisable goods before payment of the above duty.if i cant avail cc then whether it is applicable for different excisable product relasing from same factory?

We have purchased excisable matrial from our supplier. and now we will send part material to them for inspection. (on returnable basis)

What is the procedure for sending those material?
1) On 57f4 ?
2) Delivery challan. ?
3} Sales Invoice ?

Wrongly intrest debited thru Cenvat

Can we take recredit of wrongly debited intrest amount (Rs.30000/-) thru Cenvat account.

As we want to make correct debit thru PLA

Shall we intimate the range office? or do it at our own ?

Exemption limit under excise

Is there any exemtion limit in excise in case of manufacture of
pan samagari pouch(not pan masala or gutkha)containing tobacco,supari,elachi etc of MRP Rs 0.50.
If not what will be excice duty on the above.

Intrest debited thru CEnvat a/c

We have paid thru tr6 seven lacs in a month, and utilised for duty debit on goods,
And by mistake, debited INTREST on supplimentary invoices for the month (30000/-) thru Cenvat account.

Now

1) Shall we file revise return ? How? or
2) Can we recredit the intrest wrongly debited thru
cenvat? How?
and pay it thru PLA

3) or any other way to correct the ER1 Return

Please guide.

TYPES OF EXCISE RETURNS

Dear Expert,

Please let me know the types of excise returns to be filed with the Excise Authorities.

There are ER 1, ER 2, ER 3, ER 4, ER 5, ER 6, ER7 types of returns. But I want to know when & how these returns are to be filed? For which manufacturing activity which Return is to be filed??
