What is the difference between the terms intermediate goods and captive consumption in excise?

Anil Mehra

Dear Sirs,
I am a manufacturer exporter registered with the Central Excise. Under which form should I procure my raw material in lieu of duty from registered excise manufacturers ?and how do I export these goods so as to avail duty drawback benefits under schedule B ?
Can I procure material using Ct1 and then export them vide Are 1 or this is only available to merchant exporters?
Thank You in advance,
Regards,
Anil

Rebate of excise duty

We are merchant exporter, We are exporting goods with payment of duty from Dealer.
So ARE-1 is not filled. So I will not take CT-1 against Export of goods because CT-1 is not available for Dealer. As a Merchant Exporter, Can we claim Rebate or not.

We are bulk drug manufacturers. We are having expired bulk drugs, which we are showing in our RG-1 register and ER-1 return still date. Now we want to destroy the goods as they are not marketable. We have availed cenvat credit on inputs used for manufacture of the above bulk drugs.

What are the procedures we have to follow? Pls. clarify under which rule we can destroy the expired material and also can we reverse cenvat duty which was already availed.

best regards,

Cenvat credit on free issued material

hiiiiiiiii,

A company has received free issued material for job work and the party who supplied the material has paid excise on that.therefore the receiving party has book the cenvat credit on it. but at the time of final supply no excise was paid by the party because it was a free issued material.

Can goods purchased from an uregistered dealer, that is no levy of excise, be sold as excisable goods without manufacture being carried out on them, as the manufacturer has mixed such inputs with his scrap and cannot differentiate between such two goods. Also how will he make an entry of such stock in his daily stock register?
