I have one query . Suppose Mr. x owes 2 companies i.e. company A and Company B. company A sold of rs. 15000/- but amount recieved by Comapany B. so what should be entry in tally.

Guidance on Treatment of Excess of Investment in Subsidiary in the bks of Holding Co. over Share Capital and security Premium in the books of Subsidiary in Consol books.
Some history: in Q1 FY 14, in Subsidiary books Capital Reduction Scheme, we had written off all the brands against the Security Premium and Share Capital. This causes reduction in Security Premium and Share Capital. Accordingly we are adjusting the same in P&L Appropriation. Earlier (before Capital Reduction schm), the Investment in Subsidiary was = SC+SP of Subsidiary, therefore no question of GW or CR in Consol.

at present I'm carrying the value in balance sheet at cost method and recent statements show a significant drop in the NAV. Should i follow the IAS 39 and account these on fair value method?

hello sir, we are having manufacturing unit in SEZ, we are purchasing ine machinery from Dehli and that supplier will raise Retail unvoice or Tax invoice. we SEZ units are fully exempted of Taxes and excose duties. pls revert soon. thanks a lot.

As per accounting principles, Fixed assets be always valued at historical cost as per cost concept.Then why at the time of revaluation ,fixed asset is revalued and recorded at Realisable value(market value).and as per conservatism concept no future profit can be record but why profit on revaluation on fixed asset be recorded in books ???
