Why closing stock is not shown in trial balance?

In case where invoice contains labour charges & some material on which vat has not been charged.....for example labour charges Rs 8000 & wooden ply etc Rs 40000. do we have to deduct TDS on same under contractor. vendor is individual.

Please explain about TDS. how it is differ from normal TAX. How we can calculate & pay TDS.

if we had purchased a property for 10 lac in partnership n 1 lac is paid by partner .so can show property of 10 lacs in our account n 1 lac as due to our partner. if we had intention to own it by paying the remaining amount to the partner in coming future. and registry is on the name of both. pls suggest accounting

hi, I am a going to start a new business. The project size is of 8Caror, however, I have a financier who is ready to invest 35-40% in the business which is all I need to start the business as rest of the amount will be supplied through bank loan. The financier will not play any rile in the business and the whole effort of running the business will come from my side. My question is how much share should I offer the financier to call it even?

There is a case of need of working capital to the client who does not have stock .Take a case of news paper agency owners the whole of stock is sold the same day.How can they arrange funds for payment to the news papers company as the revenue collection is not so fast.

A contractor submitting labour & material invoices. labour invoice of 6000.00 in F.Y. 2014-15 & material invoice of 40000.00.

Should i deduct tds against labour invoice ?
