I have one doubt,its simple but some confusion .........
The question is
" Why we are taking opening stock amt for the preparation of Trial balance instead of closing stock?"
I expecting a simple but logic answer from your side....

Accounting standard 22 - deferred tax asset

Is it true if a comapany makes loss,it should create deferred tax asset? evenif there is no timing difference arising out of Depre & Disallowances ?

Can sources of or application of fund can be negative?

cumulative loss is greater then loan+ capital so sources of fund is negative.net current assets is negative and which is more then fixed assets so application of fund is also negative.
CAN WE SHOW THE NEGATIVE FIGURE IN SOURCES OF FUND AND APPLICATION OF FUND IN THE AUDITED BALANCE SHEET.

Calculate selling price for furnitures and electronic items

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have purchased the home furnitures items (such as Cot, tables, sofa, curtains, air conditoner, washing machine, fridge) on Sep, Oct and Nov, 2009. Now we would like to sell that items. How can we find the selling price of all the items? At what price will we sell?
