If in the year 2008-2009 say on 1-4-2009 paid insurance charges of rs.32000 for the year 1-4-09 to 31-3-2011.
and preparing balance sheet as on 31-12-2009, then prepaid will be calculated from which period?
Is it from 1-1-10 to 31-3-2011?
Am i Right plz help me out?

a partnership firm is takeover by pvt. ltd. company 2 years ago and this finacial year company take a loan in mortgage of assets which was transfer from firm.

bank advocate argue that immovable propety can not transfer without regeistry of assets in the name of company.

(1)if the Bill of Entry date is 01.01.09 date of goods received at Godown is 07.01.09 on which date the purchase should be recorded?
(2)Exchange rate of Bill of Entry date is 47Rs/$ and on the date on which received at godown is 46Rs/$ which Rate should be taken...

1. i have collected notice period from the resigned employees. that means it is an income to the company. Under which head shall i account.

2. for few employess there is loss of pay on salary.. under which heading i need to book LOP.
