Impresst to Un known Person

01 January 2010 Dear Sir,

HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2010

PROBLEM:
Generally it is seen that a person who is not employee of the business enterprise receives imprest and in the books of account imprest receivers accounts is opened.

Should we provide imprest to the person who is not an employee in the business enterprises.

Please explain it.

01 January 2010 I m unable to understand y u want to give imprest to the person not an employee of your organisation...if you need to some money for some purpose, assign the responsibility to the person of your orgnaisation and hand over th cash to him...

and if you want to give imprest to someone else not part of the enterprises, it would be just like a contract to a person for getting some work done...and there might be risk of manhandling the cash...

so i would suggest to give imprest only to a person of your enterprise only..
