Hello Experts,
Please tell me what is Maximum salary (total salary) amount doesn't comes under Bonus Act.

If an employee drawing salary of Rs.1000 or more - not eligible for Bonus
Salary means
Salary and wages includes :
a) Dearness allowance (ie all cash payments by whatever name called, paid to an employee on account of a rise in the cost of living)
b) Food allwance or the value of free food given by the employer in lieu of salary.
Salary and wages not include:
1) Allowances
2) Commission
3) Bouns
4) Travelling concession
5) Ex-gratia payment
6) Retrenchment compensation, gratuity or other retirement benefits.
7) Any amenity, service, or concessional supply of food grains or other articles
8) Employer's contribution to PF or other pension fund
9) Remuneration in respect of overtime work.
