15 December 2012 can a company can pass a single resolution for appointment of 2 additional director i.e

"Resolved that MR. A & Mr. B be and is hereby appointed as the additional director of the company"

if not than u/s which section of Co. Act it is being contravened.

Section 263 of the Companies Act, 1956 generally give power to pass shareholder resolution of appointment of 2 or more director by single resolution but they has not given any provision for Board Resolution. If your articles permit then you can do so.
