Big 4 - Tax or Audit

24 March 2011 Hi, I am a recently passed CA currently in Bangalore. I am getting a lot of calls from Big 4s to join in them with Tax OR Audit.

1) Hi friends could you please let me know the nature of the job if I join in 'TAX' section

2) Which one (Tax or Audit) requires less or no travel (outside Bangalore) as I dont want to travel outside Bangalore.

3) Will there be leave on Saturday in Big Fours (or even need to work on Sundays) ?

4) Whats there approach in giving leaves (eg: for going to native place)

25 April 2011 1. In taxation you can have work like, Direct/Indirect tax consultancy, Tax audit, VAT audit

2. Comparing Audit, Taxation will have less travel

3.Generally Big Fours having 5 days week only, but based on firm it may differ

4.Leaves as per policy of employer with reference to the employment terms
