Belated return has revised and itr-v not sent to banglore

16 February 2014 Dear Experts
I have filed a belated Income tax return for AY 2013-14, and then revised it.
but still that return contain some clerical mistakes and i am not going to send ITR-V to banglore. I have claimed refund in that return.

what will be the consequences of it.
please help

16 February 2014 In case there is a mistake you can re-revise it and send both the revised ITR-Vs to CPC.
Consequences will be in your favour.

16 February 2014 is there any penal provision because that return is belated as i heard about that one cannot revise return when return is belated i.e. U/s 139(4)

16 February 2014 There is no penal provision. As the department's site permits to file a revised return you can revise. It depends upon the CPC whether it considers it or not, but you will be free by discharging your obligation to the extent best possible, in the given circumstances.
