Respected Experts Plz let me know,Upto which date the belated return of central excise be filed with penalty

Excise not prescribed the late return filling date. only penalty will vary depends on the delay in number of days

How to calculate penalty ?

Penalty is Rs.100 per day for every day of delay subject to maximum of Rs.20000/-
