Could you please advise me the procedue for creating bank guarantee for VAT registration on the basis of Fixed Deposit

14 September 2010 After making the Fixed Deposit for the required amount, you need to fill the bank guarantee opening documents & send the same to your bank :

1. Covering letter
2. Application-cum-Authority Letter
(Bank format)
3. Counter Guarantee on Rs. 100/- stamp paper
(on Bank format)
4. Bank Guarantee on VAT deptt format on
required stamp paper.
5. Fixed deposit , duly discharged in the favour of bank.

17 September 2010 As my understanding,Generally F.D will be opened in the Name in which you are going to register, and orginial copy will be submitted to Department.
