Sir,
I have provided the service and issued a bill with ST. but now i dont think the payment will b recovered. can we claim the the refund of ST deposited?? OR adjust the Excess tax deposited...?

You have provided the service. So there arises no any question of REFUND. Please understand that tax is on SERVICE...which you claim that you have provided. It is NOT the question of service tax whether or not you can recover the money from your Debtor.

As service has been provided either you can't claim refund or adjust against any payment.
