14 March 2014 Dear Experts,

My Client is a Trust and ITR 7 has to be filed. Our CA has submitted the Audit Report manually within 30th Sept but not filed the Audit Report electronically. What are the penal provisions? Is there any way we can file it now without any penalty?

14 March 2014 well filing manual return was only an optional mechanism in the interim till you file online return within the extended time limit of 31 October 2013.

So, the penalty can be levied. But you shall get the opportunity to argue your case against the penalty.
