20 June 2011 Can anybody help me with the ground rules for auditing TDS?
This is my first time, so i would like to know what i should look out for or check in case of TDS.

25 May 2012 1. TDS should have been deducted at the correct rates.

2. TDS should have been deducted wherever applicable.

3. TDS should have been timely deposited and should have been separately deposited for each Section.

4. The TDS return should have been filed timely.

5. The TDS certiciate should have been issued timely.
