08 May 2012 I got myself registered to IPCC both groups intially but now i would like to get a Atc certificate as well. SO somebody pls tell me what is the procedure for that as i have already passed both grps of ipcc.

Pls also inform some of the places where i can apply for my 1 yr work experience required under ATC.

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN COURSE (ATC)

A candidate may opt for Accounting Technician Course. Such a candidate has to undergo a study course of nine months, 35 hours Orientation Programme and 100 hours ITT before appearing in Accounting Technician Examination (ATE). It is to be noted that Group I
of IPCC is equivalent to ATC. After passing Accounting Technician Examination (ATE), he will also be required to complete 12 months of work expe rience, as per the guidelines of the Council and onproduction of a certificate to this effect he will be issued Accounting Technician Certificate. A candidate who does not wish to complete erstwhile Intermediate/ PE-II/PCC/IPCC can opt for the Accounting Technician Course.

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN COURSE (ATC)
A student can become an Accounting Technician by enrolling for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after passing Class 10 examination, Pass 10+2 examination and CPT, enrol for Accounting Technician Course (ATC), successfully complete 9 months of Study course, successfully complete Orientation Course of one week spanning over 35 hours and covering topics, such as, personality development, communication skills, office procedures, business environment, general commercial knowledge, etc thereafter successfully complete Information Technology Training (ITT) or Computer Training Programme, Pass Group I composed of four papers of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE). Successfully complete one year work experience under a chartered accountant in practice or in industry and Get ATC Certificate - Designate as Accounting Technician.
After becoming Accounting Technician if student wants to pursue for CA course he can do it by Enrolling in Group II of Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years, Pass Group II of IPCE , Appear in IPCC Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training, Pass both the Groups of IPCC Final examination, Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable,- Successfully complete the Course on General Management and Communication Skills, Get IPCC Final Examination Certificate, Enrol as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant".

i know all the facts stated by you.

My question is at the time of initial registration I paid only 11000 for ipcc both groups and fees of ipcc groups + ATC was 12000 now i want an ATC certificate what is to be done?????

If you have not paid at the time of registration ATC fee then it will be required to be paid. For this concern the nearest institute.
