I was issued letter u/s 143(2) on 5.9.14 for A Y 2013-14. Now I am issued letter u/s 142(1) on 12.5.15. Just want to ask you whether two orders under different section can be issued for the same assessment year?

The assessment proceedings commence with notice u/s 143(2) and detailed query letter is given under section 142(1). There is no infirmity.
