20 August 2011 I have seen one of group company consisting of both Private companies and firms placed their file with one auditor for the purpose of auditing under Income Tax Act .
Is it advisable for a group of companies to put their entire files with one auditor.

please clarify my doubt and give some advise which suits the group companies.

20 August 2011 there is no such binding to distribute files to diff auditors.

getting a common auditor can reduce the manpower as the person dealing will resolve the queries of audits of diff companies in one time.
