11 February 2014 My articleship started from 26.11.2012,now I want to take a transfer. Can I do the same? What is the procedure to be followed?

11 February 2014 transfer procedures after serving one year of articleship is restricted by regulation 56(1).

17 February 2014 u need to take prior approval of icai in this regard and write a letter to them asking for trnaser with the reason if they approve you then fill up form 109 for transfer.

In the firm which I am working now 70% client is outstation audit. By giving medical certificate can I get approval? Will it be a good reason?
If so in this case can I take transfer within same city within 50 kms?

18 February 2014 Well you can. All depends on your principal, you, your doctor and your principles. I wonder why people run away from outstation audit. Its a good learning experience.

20 February 2014 if transfer is based on medical grounds 3 months discontinuance is required?
