08 December 2015 hi sir
i am a ca final article student.i have recently appeared for ca final gr 1 nov 2015 attempt.now i am in last 6 months of my articleship .i.e i have completed 2.5 years articleship.

now i am taking transfer of articleship due to medical grounds for 4 months.

my question is will i be able to appear for may 2016 exam ???

and when i will have to rejoin in ca firm for remaining articleship period ????

08 December 2015 you can appear for May 2016 exam subject to, however, approval by ICAI for you transfer on MEDICAL grounds.

08 December 2015 I MEAN AFTER TAKING TRANSFER ....I WILL BE NEEDED TO BE REGISTERED IN NEW CA FIRM FOR MY REMAINING PERIOD OF ARTICLESHIP.....SO THAT HE WOULD SIGN ON MY EXAM FORM OR DO I NEED TO RESUME MY PREVIOUS CA FIRM FROM WHICH I TOOK TRANSFER

08 December 2015 you can join any firm of your choice, including the previous one.

And without joining also, you can appear for May 2016, provided your TRANSFER is duly registered with ICAI as on submission of application form for May 2016.

08 December 2015 you are under transfer on MEDICAL grounds. right? So any other CA can sign the form provided your case is genuine and not a cooked up one.
