18 November 2013 I am an article student. Recently my friend got a letter stating that she had already paid 2000 and required to pay 10000 for final registration until then her articles will be kept in pending. I didn't receive such letter till now. So I didn't pay 10000 towards my final registration. now my query is that whether my articleship registration was successful or is it still in pending for not paying final registration fee!!

19 November 2013 I have seen many guys in my office who have registered for FInal by paying 10,000 only after 1.5 years of articleship so that they can get the latest revised Board Materials.

But you case seems peculiar. Generally, ICAI cannot insist that you register for Final Course on the pretext of cancelling the aricleship.

19 November 2013 Yes, it is true that you are mandatorily required to register for ca final also along with articleship registration if you are entering into articles after completing both groups of ipcc
