25 March 2014 no...what Tushar mean is something like the example given below:

Total days during articleship 3*365 = 1095

less Leave taken : lets say 180 (assumed)

actual period served 1095-180= 915

leave allowed 915/6 = 153

excess leave= 180-153 = 27

28 April 2014 there is no limit. its is simple. more leave you take, more is the excess leave you need to serve as extension.

28 April 2014 the max one can take as per icai rules comes out to 156 days only and any leave in addition to this shall be excess leave.
