Articleship after first group in jaipur

12 August 2012 hi to all. i've just passed my ippc first group scoring 375 marks nd looking for articleship in jaipur. i've talked to kalani & co as i had reference for that. they have told me that i should complete my 2nd group first n then apply 4 articleship in their firm. should i look for any other firm or first clear my 2nd group to apply in their firm? nd can i get any other good ca firm in jaipur after passing grp 2 ( though not in the same attempt) ? plzz help me out frndzz

14 August 2012 I feel that you can very well pursue your articleship with any CA having vacancy for articles. Some professional firms maintain certain standards like a pass in both groups of IPCC to suit their internal requirements. I feel that M/s Kalani & Co must have the same thing and hence they might have advised you to complete IInd group and come for articleship. Technically I feel that you can do articleship.

But practically, you can have peace of mind if you have also cleared the IInd group also and pursue articleship with full attention( without exam tensions) Some firms prefer and give better stipends to IPCC passed candidates who have passed both groups.
