Hi,
I gave my ipcc exams this november and i am planning to join for articleship in one of the big 4 and i am pretty interested in auditing but i have no idea as to how to approach a big 4 or i should try any mid level firm. Please advise me as to which is the best place for in depth knowledge.

Well as an Article Student has put you have to put hand in all areas, like Income Tax, Account, Audit, ROC & Service Tax etc.,
Don't restrict youself in Audit Field, whether you have interest or not you have to learn all areas.
Small Medium Firm will provide you all the exposure in learning, so please in small medium firm.
