19 June 2013 How many can we change firms for articleship purpose?
Can we do articleship beyond 3 years also?
What is dummy Articleship

There is no restriction on changing of principle for article ship.

Yes, you can do article ship for more than 3 years, but it will not be treated as article ship and other training provisions will not apply.

19 June 2013 1)what is dummy articleship?

(A1)under dummy articleship student will not under goes to work under a ca but his tenure will be continued as articleship under him by understanding with ca

(A2) generally some people choose for dummy articleship and engaged fully in wasting time and attending classes only for full 3 years

(A3)after 3 years these dummy students cannot do any thing and will not be in a position to understand what to do after qualification

(A4)dummy article ship is a place where one can spoil their professional life...and can go to confusion on what to do

(A5)dummy article if qualified as CA he may not get more than 12,000 as a salary..

Ex:one of dummy article came to our office for learning some work, my boss offered only 7000 per month..after qualification of ca---just because of dummy

19 June 2013 1)as an when you have joined as article you have to register for 3 years under him.

2)if you cannot able to continue under him you can take transfer from him in first year of articleship with out any permission from icai just principal under whom you have registered permission is enough to shift to new ca for doing rest of articleship period

3)in case of transfer in 2nd year of articleship icai prior permission is necessary..after that you can take transfer

4)articleship is restricted to 3 years only..however you can also work with ca firm after that period also as an employee but not as article student
