04 May 2015 Hello!
I am currently pursuing 2nd year of my articles. My principal was making me to work for more than 9 hrs in a day i.e., our timings are from 10.00 Am to 8.00 P.m sometimes it may extend upto 9.00 P.M. and he is granting me 3 month leave for final. Till now i have kept only 20 days as leave. Can i Claim the excess hours worked as leave? If So how i have to approach?

Kindly Help Me! I am Suffering a lot.

05 May 2015 Thank You Sir for Replying.
But my boss won't allow. Besides giving leave he is not allowing me to leave office early i.e by 7.00 P.M. I have to start my preparation but by that time i reach my home i am getting so tired.
So Kindly suggest me any other procedure

05 May 2015 I don't have any documentary proofs. But we have CC cameras in our office and the other article students will support me.

Why can't the ICAI make a resolution stating the compulsory following of timings ?
