Pls tell me about the nature of arrear salary received by a widow after the death of her husband for the period when her husband was alive and in service
Woud it be treated as salary or family pension?
Can a widow file the return of her husband's arrear salary as a epresentative assesee, if yeas pls tel me about the requirements and the procedure

Income will be treated as salary income of her late husband. She has to file return as a representative of her husband.
The return has to file in the name of husband , just below the return she will sign it as a representative.
